Hi! Its me, Maya! I'm the lead dog, & Jerry's girl! I Love Jerry, he is my human. I am the Leader of our pack on the journey on our own. I couldn't get Old Jack to come, but i knew he was old & couldnt make the journey. I Lost Dewey when he was trying to play with the Aroura Borialis. He broke his lead, & could not be helped. Buck was truely sad. But I got the rest through it. I got bite by a Lepard seal, & it wounded my leg badly. We went by at a slower pace after that. I almost didnt make it myself, so i put Max in charge, but he wouldnt leave me. I was bound to die, until Jerry came back!!! I was almost dead at that point, but when i heard Jerry's voice, i couldn't die! I had to be with my Jerry! I had to keep the line!!

The strong and maternal Alpha leader of the pack, is played by seven year-old Koda Bear, star of such films as Snow Dogs who is known to her trainers as The Princess due to the fact that she has her own entourage and wont go anywhere without her special blanket. Also starring as Maya is the equally beautiful, 7 year-old Jasmine, who always gets very serious whenever shes playing a film role. Their sledding double was Kalista, herself a long time Alpha sled dog, who like her character, helped to keep all the other dogs out of trouble during the filming.
